Welcome to Anderson Training Systems Fitness Camps

There a lot of different options out there when it comes to outdoor fitness/bootcamps so we are happy

to see you stop over and visit us at a place we affectionately call the 'dark side'.

Why do we choose to give ourselves such a sinister name?

Because we DO NOT muddle around in some 'glorified aerobics' class that just happens to be outdoors.

We work with cutting-edge equipment and programs that, are just recently being exposed to the general public,

this is the stuff  they have used to get the cast from the movie The 300 and Sylvester Stallone in top shape for Rocky VI

What does this mean?

It means at ATS Fitness Camps we will be using tools like:

  • kettlebells
  • partner assisted body weight training
  • wheel-barrows
  • weighted sleds
  • tires
  • sledge hammers
  • logs
  • kegs
  • resisted running

If you haven't figured it out already all this adds up to equal one thing HARD WORK.

I know that last statement has probably caused more than a few of you to 'cringe' a little bit,

and maybe even caused some of you to consider closing this webpage right now.

But, if you will bear with for a little bit longer, I would love to show you what you could have if you decide to join us.

I know that it is hard to believe that people would actually participate in such an a heinous activity

Another Happy Camper In A-C-T-I-O-N

However, contrary to popular belief we actually have a good time doing it.

Do you know why?

Because no matter how tough the program is we always KNOW that we WILL be REWARDED with the absolute BEST RESULTS!

No 'if's', 'and's' or 'but's'.

We want you to help you break free of the world of aerobic instructors, pink dumbbell, yoga mats,  and come join us.

We have high expectations of what you can accomplish and we hold you to those expectations bottom line.

No Excuses, just Actions, that will get you into GREAT PHYSICAL CONDITION!

That's why we call it the 'dark side'.

As you can see this type of bootcamp isn't for everyone.

These men and women were really working hard, and that was on an easy day!

But if you look closely you will notice that every single one of them had a big SMILE on their face.

Do you know why?

1.  They were actually accomplishing something not just slopping through a bunch of boring, repetitive exercises.

2.  They were having FUN!

Still skeptical about ATS Fitness Camps read some of the statements from those who've made the decision to go after the RESULTS they really deserve and

The one word that describes ATS Bootcamp programs is VARIETY!

ATS Bootcamp  keeps workouts fresh and new by changing the routines without compromising the quality of exercise or the positive impact to the muscle groups worked.

The only rut I've seen in the program is the one left from pulling that damn sled....

Dave

 Dear Troy,
I just want to thank you for all that you have done over the years to maintain my physical and mental health. As a 50+ aged female, it is difficult to find a trainer who will take me seriously and also challenge me to increase my strength and endurance.

In particular, I have totally enjoyed the outdoor fitness camp. It has taken me from junior high PE drop-out to one who looks forward to exercising outdoors and pushing my abilities to the limit.

I feel great, am fit, and frankly, can out lift many gals 15 years my junior. Recently, my rheumatologist ran bone density tests.

I have increased my bone mass by 6% due to your efforts.

Without the sled pulls, kettle bell drills, calisthenics and other forms of "torture" I wouldn't be where I am today. I plan to keep working out as long as you're there to push me along!

Patricia M. Young,

To whom it may concern, Have you ever sat a home and watched Dr. Phil, Oprah, or other programs that have featured physically fit people that were somehow miraculously transformed after years of being out of shape or overweight?

Did you ever think, wow, I wish I could do that! Well you can! In the past year that I have been working out with Troy, at his boot camp, I have lost 15 pounds(I started at 157 and am 5'4").

I feel better than I have in years! It is well worth the time and effort. I met new friends who are also working out to keep fit. It is a workout, but I am so glad I took the time to take that first step to get in shape.

Sincerely, J Carol Davenport

I find the outdoor fitness camps to be the best method of exercise, for myself, for the following reasons:

1) no question...best value for the money. I get an individual program, over an hour, for $25
2) Its outside. Even when its very hot, or very cold, nothing is as nice as working out outside. You just feel better doing it.
3) fellow victims. Its nice to work out with others and be encouraging to them and also being encouraged by them.
4) competition. You can't help but be competitive against others that are working alongside you. You won't "wimp out" as quickly when others are not, and are watching you.
5) starting the day out right. The whole day goes better when we begin it with boot camp.

Virginia Larson

The first morning I showed up for boot camp I kept saying to myself “There is no way in hell I can do this!” I huffed and puffed through the whole hour and had aches and pains for days. But, surprisingly, I returned.

And, week after week, my confidence grew as I got stronger and stronger. Then somewhere-in-there a mind and body shift occurred.

At Troy’s prompting, I began to question why I say the words “I can’t” so often. “Am I really physically unable to complete a task or do I just want to be coddled?” Good question.

Yet, despite my continued “I can’t” protests, Troy kept pushing me onward and I kept building strength and muscle one day at a time and I started to actually feel better—better than I had felt in years. As unconventional as it is, the challenge of pulling weighed down sleds across a field suddenly became something I eagerly wanted to do at 6 o’clock in the morning during monsoon season.

I credit Troy with being able to take me from saying: “I can’t do it” to “I can.”

Troy Rocks!

So far I’ve lost 18 pounds and 8% body fat.  I am so grateful that he was able to not only take a sincere interest in my fitness goals but help me break down the mental barriers that were keeping me from taking a sincere interest in myself and my overall health.
